QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Questions to the Lemurian Elders, channeled by Lauren O. Thyme
CRYSTALS:
Q. In the newsletter the Lemurian Elders mentioned crystals and gemstones. I am drawn to
crystals and rocks and in fact I have inherited a crystal piece from my grandfather. My
father recently passed away and when he died I took my grandfather's crystal from my
father's home and now have it in my home.
My grandfather had this crystal for years, long before they were fashionable with new agers. Could there be information stored in the crystal that I could access? If so how would I go about it? Also, I don't really feel that drawn to gemstones although my grandfather was. I am more drawn to rocks. I feel that having rocks around me helps ground me. Is there any messages or information stored in rocks? Any insights to these questions would be greatly appreciated. G.D.
A. Your grandfather was a man before his time. What you would call an old soul. Yes, there are many things recorded in crystals. First is your grandfather's energy and memories. Second are memories from the earth in its infancy. Thirdly you may have in your possession a Lemurian record crystal, since two members of your family (perhaps three with your father) have felt to possess it -- it is a powerful one indeed.
Lemurian Storytellers are able to read stones and crystals and tell the stories and information residing in them. Although you may not be a Storyteller (we think you were a Crystal Keeper), you can read some of the information by placing it on your forehead in a meditative state. Listen, watch, feel for messages and write them down. They may sound peculiar, ridiculous, you may even feel as though you are making up what you receive. But imagination is the key to wisdom and knowledge. With imagination comes insight, and a connection to the Universe.
As you say, crystals and rocks help to ground the body to the earth, while at the same time they bring a spiritual awareness. We used them extensively and many other following cultures have done the same. They are our friends and must be honored and respected. They will even absorb pain for the humans who use them and can be used in healing ceremonies.
All humans alive at this time have very important jobs to perform for the healing of mother earth and the human consciousness. You, of course, are one of these. Even those who don't seem to be doing a very good job are just following what they have come here to do. Judge not. Observe all. And love self and others. You can talk to us any time you desire, either through your computer or dreams, visions, and meditations.

COCREATION AND UNIVERSAL LAW
Q. I've been working on different aspects of my spirituality for only about a year and a half, but even though I'm only 27 I have learned (remembered) so much so quickly. Just recently, co-creation has been playing a major role in my life and my question has to do with the whole co-creation process. I would like to know how the process is completed from beginning to end, from my role to my Spirit guides roles. Obviously there's a lot of information here, maybe if you could send me a synopsis or in point form of how it works. Thank you ever so much for your help! J.A.
A. Thank you for your wonderful question. The single Universal Law is that EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED TO EVERYTHING. Within that is the law of attraction -- broken down into karma (inharmonious) and grace (harmonious). Everyone and everything is in a state of evolution, growth and learning. So everything one does, thinks and feels affects not only self growth but that of the entire Universe!! In Lemuria we used the sacred symbol of the spider web to illustrate this. The good news is that with Universal Wisdom, which includes many facets like forgiveness, detachment, unconditional love, surrender, trust, and quite a few others, one can affect changes in self and others that feel harmonious and add to the grace of the Universe.
There are other very good books on this subject. Journey Of Souls by Dr. Michael Newton; Earth - A Pleiadian Perspective To The Living Library by Barbara Marciniak; and Return Of The Bird Tribes by Ken Carey.

HEALING HANDS
ONE HEALER'S STORY
Dear Friends,
It is always a thrill and confirmation to read about people discovering spiritual healing power, their own or others.
I discovered mine over a period of time lasting from about 1989 to 1993. A friend of a friend, of a friend introduced me to a man dying of Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma, hard swollen tumors all over his neck and groin, given about 6 months to live by his oncologist, 18 at the outside if he took intensive chemotherapy. I asked him if he would let me work with him awhile. He asked my fee. I said nothing, but I'll take a donation if I can help you, after I help you. Sixth months later after doing intense hands on work for 3 to 4 times a week he came back to see me beaming smugly from a visit to his oncologist, who was a little bit surprised and probably miffed, (knowing what I know now about the medical establishment) not being able to find a trace of a tumor anywhere on his body.
My friend quoted the oncologist as saying, "Well, interesting. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it. (I might add here that the man had elected to refuse all chemotherapy or further surgery or radiation while he worked with me.)
My friend asked the doctor if he wanted to know what he was doing. The doctor said he wasn't interested. The doctor continued, "But you need to know that cancer is still there in you and you could die of it in 20 or 30 years." The man was 59 when I met him.
I got a generous donation, and wound up seeing quite a few AIDS and cancer patients. I healed some and saw some die too.
The final result was that some three years later of full time healing practice, I finally began to believe maybe there was a powerful energy that I was opening to. It came home forcefully one day when I was feeling discouraged, and to make myself feel better I tried a little exercise. I took a piece of 8 1/2 by 11 paper and went back in my mind over the last 3 years and wrote down the name of each person who had ever made a remark, that was both unsolicited and emphatic, to me about the strength and power of my healing touch. With the page crammed full (and I write fairly small) in less than 20 minutes, I started to feel better, and decided it would be OK to raise my own self esteem, regarding all aspects of the work I do in the way of energy projection and healing, hands on or at a distance.
That first cancer patient I healed, did regress and die several years later, unfortunately. The reasons were basically that he was unable to come to terms with some fundamental issues that were lying at a deeper causal level. In retrospect I now know that I virtually burned the cancer out of him with the light energy coming through me. At first I had thought it to be the breath work and Reichian therapy I was using on him that did the most good, but he never did learn to breathe properly anyway, at least not really enough, even during sessions to really help. In spite of my best efforts, he would almost always go into a deeply altered state of sleep in session, and finding it almost impossible to wake him, I simply took advantage of the time to flow all the healing love and light I could focus on through my hands and other centers.
When the relapse came years later, I wasn't the only one wondering why he didn't come back to me for daily sessions, but in hindsight I think it was a case where I virtually healed him almost against his own will, by sheer energy flow.

Twirling with the wind,

THE EQUALITY AND ONENESS OF ALL

I humbly greet you today, my dear brothers and sisters, my dear children in the Light. I am Quan Yin. My dear ones, today I wish to speak with you of the opening and expansion of the heart around the world, in Equality and in Oneness of All. My dear children, time and time again, it seems in perpetuity, have you created separation around your planet. As you have sought to find for yourselves that which is truth, as you have sought inner peace and sanctuary, so often what you have also inadvertently created are barriers around yourselves. You have withdrawn into the highest, furthest places, away from humanity, in order to seek your own personal, spiritual progression; and true, in this way many masters have been created.
Many have reached through into the next stage of their own personal spiritual progression. But, my dear ones, we ask you this? Has this brought upon your planet greater love? Has this brought upon your planet greater light and greater illumination? Has it led you forward together as the human race, into a state of harmony and peace and beauty, one with another? Or has it led only to the expansion of the consciousness of a very few, "select" individuals? Now, we do not judge you for this, for this in times past was the way that it had to be. It was necessary for the few to go forth shining the light of illumination so that others might see their example and trust. Trust - not simply in the divine forces above, to guide you through, but trust more especially in your own inner flame and seed of divinity.
My dear ones, why do you live in such strife among yourselves, separating yourselves up into races, into dogmas, into schools of thought and teachings, one different from another, when truly there is one only true school of thought that exists within All, and that is the harmony, the energy, the divine flame being of Love. For it is love that created this planet. It is love that created each and every one of you, and as such, it is love that will lead you forward into the Oneness of All That Is.
Dear ones, we honour your uniqueness, we honour each one of you as being special; but at the same time we remind you that ALL of you, without exception, are equal. You are equal together in the Light, and it is in this equality and in this Light that you shall stand in the future, for this is what you are moving towards, this is what you are trying to create on your planet - a future of peace, of harmony, of love and understanding. We know that if you look backwards, your history has been a history of warfare and of conflict. But as we have just explained to you, there is little to be gained from looking backwards over time.
Let each one of you exist in the NOW. Exist in a state of Love, exist in a state of equality and harmony, and most especially of all, in a state of forgiveness; for it is most necessary in view of the past, in view of what has happened and gone before, that this energy of forgiveness be grounded now, through the hearts of each and every one of you upon the
planet. Forgiveness does not mean a balancing up of actions. It does not mean, "I will forgive this one for what they have done to me if they will now put it right and do something different in return." Forgiveness means letting go of the past, letting go of all that has happened, and allowing yourself to see only the reality of love, light and hope that is around you. We ask at this time, that all those of you who are able, and who feel the inner strength to stand in your heart's inner space of openness and forgiveness, to send love, compassion, kindness and understanding to all of your brothers and sisters within this human race, for we remind you dear children, that ALL within the human race are brother and sister; to expand this love, compassion, kindness and forgiveness, sending out not words of judgement, but the energy of Love. It is through grounding compassion and forgiveness into your hearts that you will reach forward into Love and into Unity with each other.
Each one of you are being asked to become masters of your own actions; to become masters of your own emotions; to become masters in balance and in love. This is not achieved by drawing away from humanity, and by separating yourselves. This is achieved by taking your actions out into the world. By taking your light to the darkest places, the furthest corners of the globe, and shining it there. There are many of you who will be unable to do this in physicality, but we ask that you spend a little time each day, just a few minutes is all that it needs and takes, to join in your hearts with the oneness of all of humanity, and to send the abundance of love that the Creator has poured down upon you, to those that do not yet stand in realisation of this love. It is in this way, in mutual support and harmony, that you will draw together into Oneness, and into Peace.
For Sanctuary is not just to be found in the silence within. Sanctuary is to be found in the experience of Life within the energy of Love and Harmony.
I am Quan Yin. I honour each and every one of you. I send you my qualities of love, mercy and compassion, for I recognise them in each and every one of you.

Light workers of the world
It’s time to unite.
We’ve been sorely tested
We’ve faced the bleak night.
But our time is now nearing
For holding our light
And showing the world
That we now will unite.
The time is now come
For to take up our place
Into the forefront
Of the human race.
We came to earth
A purpose to fill
And the time has now come
For us to stand still -
And call on our angels,
Our guides and our soul
As we draw back the veil
And fulfill our goal.

REFLECTIONS ON OUR SECOND ANNIVERSARY
OF THE SNAC NEWSLETTER
In April 1995 the Salem New Age Center posted a few new age pages on the web. It was fun. We got e-mail from all over the world, as people exchanged ideas and thoughts with us on new age topics. This web stuff thing is pretty cool, we thought.
In November of 1995, we figured an e-mail newsletter would be a great way to help spread the word. And thus the SNAC newsletter was born.
Looking back to the first couple issues with a critical eye, they don't seem all that profound. But at the time we put all we had into them, as we struggled to understand certain truths (and still do) and share them with our readers.
Now two years later, we couldn't be more pleased. It's been incredibly rewarding to edit this newsletter, and share the information that we receive from others with our readers.
Thank you to everyone for all your kind words over the past two years. We would include them here, but they just wouldn’t fit. And thank you to the many people who copy and forward this newsletter for others, with the hope that friends may find some value within too.
And we especially want to thank those with the courage to come forward and be counted, and share their articles, channeling, poetry, and their own heartfelt words of truth, honesty and enlightenment to share with others in this newsletter. For this is what makes the newsletter exciting for us, when souls come forward and share what they know with those who would listen. Because when someone has overcome adversity and shares the knowledge of their experience with others, we all grow just a little bit.
We have every intention of editing and publishing this newsletter for many years to come. And if you are so inclined to share your experiences with our readers, whatever the subject may be about, we encourage you to submit your article, experience, or understanding to us. For that is the true spirit from which this newsletter was launched.
THE MISSION
Looking back over the past few years, much has transpired. We've seen the predicted time for the Photon Belt arrive and then quietly pass. We've seen the Hale-Bopp comet grace our skies, and then drift onward into the darkness of space. And of course we often hear of predictions of mass UFO landings, and all the excitement this event will bring. And yet, we are still here.
We truly believe that the reason many of us are here today is that we are here to raise the consciousness of mankind, and help humankind and the planet ascend into the next dimension. We believe with much conviction that we are here to create a peaceful, harmonious New Age for our world. We can do this.
But some will think, how can we change the world around us? Isn't there a lot of struggle and strife in the world? How can we accomplish this seemingly near impossible task?
The answer is in the collective consciousness. When we are all able to raise the collective consciousness of mankind to a level of enlightenment, then our planet and all on it will "go to light."
There are two events in recent history that can be viewed as examples of a large shift in collective consciousness. We mention them here because it is obvious to me that the collective consciousness can be changed, and we can change it!
The first example of a large mass consciousness shift (not necessarily a positive one) was earlier this decade when the gulf war began in Iraq and Kuwait. Here in the United States, it seemed like everyone (with the help of the media) had united and focused their consciousness on finding a resolution to the turmoil in the Middle East. For us, it was truly amazing to feel the groundswell of collective consciousness amass and be directed and focused to one area of the world.
A second example of the power of the collective consciousness occurred recently when Princess Diana passed over to the other side. It seemed that time stood still. For one week, the attention of the whole world (and the media) was focused on nothing else but Princess Diana, her life, her accomplishments and her compassion for humanity.
We mention these two times in history because the collective consciousness of mankind was very powerfully affected. This collective consciousness is a living, breathing thing. It is the sum of us all.
Realize however, that we don't have to manifest war, earth changes, cataclysmic events, and other negatively polarized events in order to positively change our collective consciousness. It just isn't necessary.
One way to start the consciousness shift is to simply start with oneself. Just think for a moment about the people whose lives you have touched, in some way. It is likely you've influenced your friends, family, coworkers and others as a result of who you are, and what you believe, and what you say and do. Just by being the person you are, choosing the path you have chosen, saying the things you say, and thinking the things you do, affects others in many subtle ways.
People are waking up around us all over the world. Many of us are here to help others with this process, in our own unique way. No one said it would be easy, but we are warriors of light, and we all have very important work to do. When the number of "lightworkers" and awakened souls reaches a critical mass, then the collective consciousness of mankind will be changed forever. Because once you have awakened, you know you can never go back.
We have no idea what the future will hold for us. But since we can and do all co-create our future, then let us create a future for ourselves that we would like to live in. Why have it any other way? Haven't we learned enough, and gone through enough already? Do we really need to repeat lessons we learned centuries and lifetimes before?
We say no. The time is now. This planet will never be the same again, as we reclaim the new age for mankind.
