A few of Shawn Robbins' most interesting prophecies are as follows:
1) By 2032, virtually all households are wired for the communications highway. However, the curious thing is that businesses pay to have everyone wired into the system. Businesses pay for all the equipment in order to get everyone to be wired into their network. Some companies even pay subscribers to tune in for a least a few hours a week. In 2032, in Alabama, certain people resist hooking up to the communications highway, and thus start an Electric War.
2) People become so enamored with all the information available on the information highway that they become obsessed with their computers. People become afraid they'll miss something important, and are afraid to walk away from their computer terminals.
3) Home Consultant is the job of the future. The home consultant helps people buying a house, by checking on: landfills, cemeteries, power lines, hazardous wastes, flooding, pollution, ground water, cancer rates, crime, schools and more.
